Love love LOVED this film! Who better than the Finnish to give us such a non-traditional Christmas story, yet have us feeling warm and cheery by the end. I enjoyed not knowing where it was going or how it was going to end. I also had no idea about the history of the 'Pagan' Santa Clause, so that also gave it quite a twist. The little boy was excellent. Quite a fun ride. Will definitely recommend this to others.

ReplyDeleteLove the film and the ending! A twist to Santa's story! I loved it and will be seeing the movie with my grown chidlren for the Christmas break. One observation, women were not on this film with the exception of the mention of one girl's name on the list to call, the mother who is dead and the wife of the friend from whom the hair dryer was stolen from. I wonder if the omition of the carachters is because of the cultural influence of men in this area of the world. Different but great!
