Code Unknown

This is a French film (2000) written and directed by Michael Haneke.

The film features several different storylines, most of which is in Paris. Where the fates of several characters intersect and connect periodically throughout the film. Cinematically, the film is composed of unedited long takes filmed in real time, cut only when the perspective within a scene changes from one character's to another in mid-action. When watching this film I paid less attention to the subtitles and just really watched the movie. It was amazing to see how this guy stood up for a lady and where his story and the rest of the story take these people’s lives. This reminded me of a couple movies I watched recently for this class, Fallen Angels and Amores Perros. All these movies had intertwined storylines.
