Fallen Angels is a 1995 Hong Kong movie written and directed by Wong Kar-Wai , starring Leon Lai, Takeshi Kaneshiro, Michelle Reis, Charlie Yeung and Karen Mok. I believe the move was in Cantonese and or Mandarin with Japanese and English subtitles. The movie is composed of two stories that have little to do with each other except for a few casual run-ins where some of the characters happen to be in the same place at the same time. This movie has won many Hong Kong awards. I have seen many movies in the last couple years that follow this same theme , few casual run-ins but not really part of the story or stories that have stories of their own. I would say this movie makes you think because I spent some time wondering what each individual story had to do with the other.
