This movie was directed by Mamoru Oshii. It was released in 2004 it is a Japanese film. I did not watch the first "Ghost in the Shell" but I was able to follow along in the storyline. This movie was created in the anime/computer animated style. The setting is in 2032 where cyborgs have either taken over or this is a cyborg world. There are not too many humans. The main characters are detectives; one is completely a computer or cyborg. The other one still has some human traits/parts to him. It is amazing to see where computers could take us. There is even a computer dog that eats sleeps shits and kisses his master. The whole point of the movie is to solve the scandal behind some killings that started with computer/cyborg sex dolls. Overall this movie was very imaginative and interesting.
