Rare Exports was a bizarre twist on Christmas and Santa Clause. It was drama meets Finish science fiction. I am not sure why the "elves" were naked or why their lack of clothing added anything to the storyline. Other than a factor of a slim budget, the nakeness was simply odd.
Rare Export was odd and scary. A bunch of old naked men with beards in a pen ... I didn't get that at all.
ReplyDeleteI think the nakedness added to the creepiness of the character. I also think it emphasized the fact they were treated more like animals than humans.
